Terms of Service

1. Who may use SubsCraft

You must be at least 13 years old to use SubsCraft. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use SubsCraft only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

2. What SubsCraft does

SubsCraft helps you manually record and review subscriptions and one-time purchases, estimate upcoming renewals, track trial periods, view calendar and insight summaries, set reminders, optionally use AI Craft to extract draft subscription details from text, photos, screenshots, or short voice recordings that you submit, and optionally use AI Saving to request an AI-generated savings report for subscriptions you select.

SubsCraft is an organization and reminder tool. It does not cancel third-party subscriptions for you, contact merchants for you, connect to your bank account, process payments for your subscriptions, or guarantee that a listed renewal will or will not occur. You remain responsible for verifying charges and cancelling services directly with the relevant provider.

3. Accounts and authentication

SubsCraft uses Clerk for authentication. Depending on platform availability, you may sign in with email/password, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple. Some features require an account so the app can identify your local app profile and submit authenticated AI Craft jobs or push-token registrations to our backend.

You can manage your account information, change your password, and request account deletion through Account Management at https://accounts.daycraftai.com/sign-in.

You agree to provide accurate account information and to notify us at support.subscraft@daycraftai.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Local-first data and sign-out

SubsCraft stores your core subscription data locally on your device using SQLite. The current production release does not provide account-level cloud sync or cloud backup for your subscription database.

Because the app is local-first, deleting the app, clearing app storage, changing devices, or signing out may permanently remove local subscription data from that device. The app may warn you before sign-out because sign-out clears local business data in the current release.

5. AI features (AI Craft and AI Saving)

AI Craft is optional. If you submit text, photos, screenshots, or voice recordings, those inputs are sent to our backend and service providers so they can be processed into suggested subscription records. AI results may be incomplete or incorrect. You must review and edit AI-created records before relying on them.

AI Saving is optional. If you request a savings report, details of the recurring subscriptions you select (up to ten per report), such as service names, prices, currencies, and billing cycles, are sent to our backend and AI service providers to generate the report. Reports are generated asynchronously and returned to your device.

All AI output — including AI Craft extractions and AI Saving reports, suggestions, and alternative plans — is generated automatically and provided for reference only. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and it is not financial or professional advice. We do not guarantee that any suggested saving, plan, or alternative exists, is accurate, or is suitable for you. Verify prices, plans, and terms directly with the relevant provider before acting. Any decision you make based on AI output is your own responsibility, and to the maximum extent permitted by law we accept no liability for it.

AI features use credits. The free plan may include a limited number of free credits, and different AI tasks may spend different numbers of credits depending on the input and processing required. Failed tasks do not consume credits. Premium is provided through RevenueCat and the applicable App Store or Google Play purchase flow. Purchase terms, renewal terms, cancellation methods, and any trial terms are presented before purchase, and platform billing rules apply.

6. Notifications and reminders

SubsCraft can schedule local reminders based on the subscription data you enter. If you allow push notifications, our backend may also send push notifications about AI job completion or failure through Expo Push Service and the platform notification services. Notifications are best-effort and may be delayed or blocked by your device, operating system, network, or permission settings.

7. Your responsibilities

You agree not to:

• use SubsCraft for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes;
• submit content you do not have the right to upload or process;
• upload malicious code, illegal material, or highly sensitive information not needed for subscription tracking;
• attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or bypass security limits of the app or backend;
• misuse AI features, push notifications, authentication, or rate limits.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of the subscription records, notes, images, text, audio, and other content you provide. You grant us a limited permission to process that content only as needed to operate SubsCraft, provide the AI features, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and comply with law.

9. Third-party services

SubsCraft relies on third-party services including authentication, push notification, object storage, exchange-rate, platform app-store, and AI-processing providers. Their services may be unavailable or may change. Your use of platform login, notification, and app-store services may also be subject to Apple, Google, Clerk, Expo, and other providers' terms and policies.

10. Current pricing

SubsCraft offers a free plan and may offer a Premium plan through in-app purchases. Premium currently unlocks a larger monthly AI credit allowance for AI Craft and AI Saving, priority AI analysis, an ad-free experience, and early access to new features. Prices, billing periods, renewal terms, cancellation methods, and any trial terms are shown in the store purchase flow before you buy.

11. Disclaimers

SubsCraft is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free AI extraction, accurate or achievable AI savings suggestions, exact exchange-rate conversion, exact spending projections, or successful delivery of reminders. AI-generated content, including AI Saving reports and suggestions, is reference information only, and you are responsible for any decision you make based on it. SubsCraft does not provide financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DaycraftAI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for lost data, lost profits, missed cancellations, unexpected subscription charges, or reliance on AI output — including AI Saving reports, suggestions, and alternative plans — or reminder output.

13. Termination

You may stop using SubsCraft at any time. You may request deletion of your account and associated server-side data through Account Management at https://accounts.daycraftai.com/sign-in. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for us or other users, or if we are required to do so by law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as updating this page, changing the effective date, or notifying you in the app.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, except where local consumer protection laws require otherwise.
